Forest Pest Management Forum

The 63rd Forest Pest Management Forum (February 16 and 17, 2021) will be a free virtual conference. Visit the Canadian Institute of Forestry website to register.

Organized by Natural Resources Canada in support of the National Forest Pest Strategy, the Forum is the largest and most significant gathering of forest pest management experts, managers and practitioners in Canada. Federal, provincial, territorial, municipal, industrial and nongovernmental organizations meet face-to-face to discuss and coordinate research related to forest insect and disease disturbances.

The objectives of the Forum include the sharing of information on current and future pest conditions, pest control operations, environmental issues and the development of alternatives to chemical insecticides, as well as to discuss new technology and the latest research findings.
